USS Tardis ** Crew Lounge ** Deck 4
.========================================================================== ==.
This is the crew lounge. It is a relaxing place on the ship. It is also the only place onboard the vessel where alcohol is permitted served and consumed. The amenities of this facility include a bar, small stage, kitchen for serving meals, a piano and seven piece band. To the crew it serves as a place to release from duty pressures, meet, dine, and celebrate.

This human female stands at about 160cm and looks to be around the age of twenty-five. Her hair crawls down her neck, covering her ears, and is shoulder-height, her hair is straight and brown. Her skin is white, her eyes are chestnut brown and are large, her two large eyes are seperated by her cute ski-slope nose. Her lips are a lucious red colour and are very firm. Her chin is round and rather flat. Her neck is relatively short and leads down to her broad shoulders. Her bodily structure is not so much muscular as it is thin, obviously the kind of person for agility opposed to brute strength.

For everyday use. A long-sleeved blood-red, wrap-around jacket with an angled front that is piped in black and is worn, at the officers discretion, with an exposed mustard-gold panel. mustard-gold strap over the right shoulder, mustard-gold ribbed collar and cuffs, and a mustard-gold arm band three inches above the left cuff with *. On the strap and just above the arm band is <|. Over the left breast and on the buckle of the black leather belt is a brass Delta Shield. A black vest with pockets is worn underneath the jacket. At the nearest unoccupied table, she stops and starts to spread out the (blank) paper, holding down the edges with empty glasses, napkin dispensers and the like.
Evans says “what’s in the cannister?”
Brianne blinks and looks up, not having noticed Evans, “Oh! Hi! They’re called ‘colored pencils’.” To illustrate, she opens the canister and dumps the colored pencils out on the table, one or two rolling off and onto the floor.
Evans says “Ah.”

This corridor is like any other in the ship. The walls are dull and serve little purpose other than to define the pathway the corridor follows. The long stretch snakes its way through the deck slowly arching at some points and turning sharply at others. Sometimes the corridor makes intersections with others. Without a solid understanding of the ship’s layout it might be difficult to navigate the labyrinth of corridors. This deck’s corridors are homier looking. The corridors here connect the general crews living quarters, recreation areas, and dining centers. Here you will find the crew lounge, quarters for both the general crew and guests, and the ship’s gymnasium.

The whole area is well-lit with flourescent white light every hour of every ship’s day, and is doubly reinforced with heavy, powerful beams, so that the crew would still be able to move in the event of severe damage. The walls are bare, totally free of decoration or ornament save for the long alert stripe running down the corridor, and a single computer terminal in the middle. Other than that, though, it’s a very bare-bones operation, as one can step out of the turbolift and simply look down the fifty feet towards the heavy, powerful door of the bridge. There is one other door along the side of the hallway, a lighter portal leading into the ship’s conference room. But it is to the bridge that most of the activity goes. For such an important hallway, it is only really busy when a shift is changing or something, as most people on the bridge will tend to stay there and most people in other parts of the ship have no reason to go to the bridge.

USS Tardis ** Bridge ** Deck 1
.========================================================================== ==.
The bridge of the Tardis is a medium-sized affair, slightly smaller than the standard for cruisers like the Excelsior and Constitution-classes…but, then again, the Constellation-class is all about getting as much power as possible in a minimal amount of space. On the uppermost level, which the corridor opens onto, the science console is embedded in the wall to the corridor’s right and communications to the left, both sandwiched between two of the large support beams used to keep the bridge sturdy. A rail also extends along the edge of this level, specially installed for Admirals to lean on, covering the entire edge except for one large step, leading down. The step is almost a level in of itself, and upon it rests the Captain’s chair, the seat of power, with a bit of space in front of it and to either side for people to stand on. The chair itself is quite well-designed, comfortable enough with little consoles on each arm-rest…and a cup-holder on the left one.

On the level below the Captain’s chair rests two other consoles joined into one, responsible for tactical and navigation (tactical on the left, navigation on the right). Each console has a chair of their own, and they’re divided by a large strut that bolts the consoles to the ground. Directly in front of tactical and navigation is the viewscreen, dominating the entire wall, and in the left wall on the lowest level is the door into the Captain’s ready room.
The entire bridge is, as a rule, always well-lit, and even if the lights do go out, little lights inside each console ensure everybody knows what button they’re pressing. At the very top of the viewscreen is a short alert indicator, and near the door into the ready room is the ship’s dedication plaque, always kept polished and proud.

The Captain’s Ready Room is a place where the ships command crew and meet to prepare for upcoming missions or resolve issues off the bridge. The room is designed with the same structural considerations as the rest of the ship. Inside the room is a desk and large padded chair fixed into the floor. Opposite it is a set of smaller chairs. Right next to the desk is a small conference table surrounded by similar looking chairs. Along the back wall is a display case full of ship memorabilia. There are two exits in this room, each marked clearly. One is to the bridge, the other to the corridor leading to the turbolift.

I entered to find that the lieutenant had a canister and some paper, when I asked what she was doing, she said that she was drawing… This in itself seemed rather strange, but when I scanned her to see if she was okay it said she was armed, when I asked her she proceeded by patting her holster and said she’s had it since Admiral Wilco was killed. This scared me so I walked out and tried to leave the ship, I then couldn’t open any doors, so I had reason to believe that she took away my authority. So I ran to the mail terminal and posted a note for help.”

You.. an fresh Ensign from Engineering thought this to be odd.. and proceeded to scan her.. without asking.. right? And seeing that she was armed.. asked her and she told you why.. so you ran.. and then decided to put your ID card into your belt so that it wasn’t ready to be scanned by the computer.. to access the computer… or to open doors.. and you think she should be committed..” He stops abruptly at the Ensign trying to leave and practically shouts, “And WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING. Evans nods slowly.
Smith nods shortly and looks at McCree as he walks to her, “And are these the facts as you’ve seen them, Lieutenant?”
Brianne nods and swallows a couple times before being able to say in a somewhat normal voice, “I made no threats towards the Ensign here; I was only drawing and then when she left the room, I called to see if she wanted to see my drawing.”
Evans OOCly says “Brianne pats her hip a couple times with one hand while still drawing with the other and laughs, “I’ve had this thing for awhile! Almost since Admiral Wilco was killed.””

Short, cylindrical, and grey. That’s the turbolift for you. It is, in most regards, a bland, grey cylinder, with a Starfleet-issue blue carpet, and just enough room to hold reasonably-sized cargo on anti-grav units. A console to the left of the door provides controls for transit between decks, and a chart on the right of the door shows what’s where.

Naturally, lots of people are always going in and out of the turbolift, and it’s frequently kept moving. As the core of the ship’s system of passageways and corridors, the turbolift is naturally a very important part of fleet life.

.========================================================================== ==.
