Cadets Can Be Hazardous to Your Health

Razoric comes in from the corridor.
Razoric has arrived.
Nahal is sitting at a chair, reviewing a PADD, drinking coffee. The Observation deck is rather deserted at this time, except for him rather.
Razoric wipes a bead of sweat off his forehead and says, “G’day all.”
Razoric looks at you.
Razoric says “Where might I be able to get a tricorger and a engineering toolbox?”
Brianne glances up from where she sits, not next to Nahal but not too far away either, “What’ve you been up to, Cadet?”
Razoric says “I just finished setting up the ships priority list.”
Nahal glances at Razoric curiously and opens his mouth to say something, but silences himself after Brianne speaks
Razoric says “I made it the same as the starbases.”
Razoric says “Though I’m sure it’ll need changing, as this isn’t the starbase.”
Razoric steps into a bulky insulated enviroment suit and zips it up tight so it covers his entire body.
Razoric unfastens the bulky insulated enviroment suit and carefully steps out of it.
Razoric smiles.
Brianne blinks, “Priority list? The same as the starb… And what do you think you’re doing, Cadet?”
Razoric says “Checking to see if the suit had oxygen.”
Razoric says “I figured the ship would better have the same list as the starbase than none at all…”
Nahal tries to stop himself from laughing successfully and turns and looks at Razoric and says, “Cadet, changing priority lists and such like that is up to a officer, not you.”
“That doesn’t quite explain…” Brianne pauses for a moment, “Environmental suits are not exactly standard issue. Why do you have it?”
Razoric says “Sorry, i’ll go delete it then.”
Razoric says “I bought it on earth”
Razoric heads through the door to the corridor.
Razoric has left.
Nahal OOCly says “ROFL!”
Brianne OOCly says “…”
Nahal glances at Razoric’s departure and says, “Wait till he returns?” to Brianne of course.
Brianne shakes her head quickly before nodding, “I would rather not chase after him.”
Razoric comes in from the corridor.
Razoric has arrived.
Razoric nods.
This is a rather tall, strong, attractive dark skinned human male. His hair is short, straight and black, his eyes are dark brown and go well with his hair. He has a small nose and has no facial hair. His body from his neck down is all muscular and well-toned. A gray jump suit with an ivory yoke, black piping, mustard-gold shoulder boards, red ribbed collar and arm cuffs, wide black belt, black leg stripe and black boots worn outside the pants. A brass Delta Shield on the buckle and left breast pin. A red arm band is three inches above the left cuff and displays no pins and a broad angled mustard-gold stripe.
Carrying:
Environment Suit – 14804
Communicator – 19432
Personal Cargo Container – A mustard-gold engineering belt – 34036
Federation ID Card – 34088
Razoric says “I just need a toolkit and a tricorder now.”
Brianne stands and folds her arms across her chest, doing her best to look stern, “What were you doing on /Earth/?”
Razoric says “Looking for a tricorder and a engineering toolbox i could afford.”
“Cadet…” Brianne begins, patiently, “You will be issued all that equipment once you have graduated from the Academy.”
Nahal watches the Cadet get reprimanded by Brianne, his gaze unreadable.
Razoric smiles. “If you say so Lieutenant.” Smiles, “Good thing they don’t issue environmental suits, otherwise I wasted my money.”
Brianne bites her lip for a second before replying, “Environmental suits are issued /when they are needed/. Are you planning on releasing a biohazard or radioactive material? If not, you don’t need one right now.”
A thick, padded suit of reflective silver fabric, with a large zipper
like closure running down the front to fasten and unfasten it. The
interior is lined with a thermally insulating material, designed to
protect the occupant from extreme temperatures outside of the suit.
Thick gloves and footslippers, and a helmet are integrated into the
pressure suit, providing total termal protection. Attached to the
back with a reinforced shoulder harness is a large square canister
of pressurized air that is designed to provide the occupant with a
supply of oxygen.
Type SUIT HELP for a list of commands.
Razoric OOCly farts, puts on his enviromental suit and watches as you slowly die
Razoric says “Yessir.”
Database save complete.
Brianne shakes her head slightly, “And what were you planning on doing with the thing? It is, obviously, too large for you to cart about everywhere.”

Razoric says “Locker.”
Razoric heads through the door to the corridor.
Razoric has left.
Once the Cadet leaves, Brianne bursts out into quiet laughter.
Nahal sighs as the Cadet runs off and says, “Note to the Academy, teach Cadets to sit still or they dont learn anything at all.”
Brianne nods, “That would help.” She swallows, attempting to stop laughing.

Brianne takes a breath as Razoric returns, “Glad to see you’ve decided to come back, Cadet.”
Razoric scratches his head.
Nahal nods to Brianne and says, “Cadet, when being addressed by a superior officer, it usually is the case to wait and remain till they dismiss you.”
“From this point on, until you graduate…” Brianne begins, “You are not to leave the ship at all, unless ordered to by a superior officer. Is that understood, Cadet?”
Razoric looks up quickly.
Razoric says “Yes… Lieutenant…”
Razoric goes to his chair and sits in it.
Brianne nods, “Good. I shall inform the Captain and so on of this. Now, you obviously got to Earth. You should not have been able to.” She shakes her head, “I suppose I should go check on the base now.”
Razoric has reconnected.
Razoric OOCly says “sorry…”

Brianne nods, “Good. I shall inform the Captain and so on of this. Now, you obviously got to Earth. You should not have been able to.” She shakes her head, “I suppose I should go check on the base now.”
Razoric says “What?”
Nahal glances at Brianne and says, “Shields up or doors locked?”
Brianne looks at Nahal, “Shields. They should be up.”
Razoric says “the ship’s shields?”
Razoric says “the ships shields are down.”
Nahal glances at Razoric and says, “The Base’s shields.”
Brianne nods, “Of course the ship’s shields are down. We’re docked. It wouldn’t make much sense for them to be up right now, would it? But the base’s shields should be up.”
Razoric says “I went to the transporter and back”
“That much is obvious.” Brianne nods, “I shall be back shortly.” She turns to depart and the keen-eared might detect her laughing quietly.
You head through the door to…

Razoric stops spinning in his chair as the Lieutenant arrives
Brianne steps back into the lounge and gives Razoric a strange look, seeing him spinning in his chair.
Nahal chuckles as Brianne sees Razoric spinning before he stops, and goes back to reviewing his PADD
Razoric OOCly says “what’s the muse’s webbie?”
Razoric OOCly says “wanna find out what i have to do to graduate.”
Brianne OOCly says “You graduate when whomever’s in charge of SFA decides you’re ready.”
Razoric OOCly says “kk…”
Nahal OOCly says “Which you can speed up by performing well on patrols.”
Razoric OOCly says “I want the ship to be repaired so i can actually do something :)”
Nahal OOCly says “Thats the only real problem with this game. Space stuff takes awhile to get fixed if destroyed”
“Cadet…” Brianne asks tiredly, “Why do you continue to spin around in such a fashion?”
Razoric says “Because i have nothing to do untill the ship get’s repaired. ”
Nahal winces as he knows thats exactly the wrong thing to say to superior officer.
Razoric has partially disconnected.
Razoric looks curiously at Nahal, Anything wrong Lieutenant?
Razoric says “computer, time”
Ship’s Computer: The current Federation Standard Time is, Sat Nov 12 11:41:50 2005, StarDate 13587.24.
Ship’s Computer: The current Federation Standard Time is, Sat Nov 12 11:41:50 2005, StarDate 13587.24.
You flick off the comm panel.
Brianne blinks, “Nothing to do, hmm? There is plenty for you to do. For example, I hear that the Jeffries tubes are in need of cleaning, as well as diagnostics to check for part replacement.”
Razoric says “Jeffries tubes?”
Sat Nov 12 11:42:45 2005
Nahal chuckles at Brianne as she loads up the Cadet with work.
Brianne nods, “Yes… you know, the crawl spaces between decks.”
Razoric says “I just finished running diagnostics on the consoles, and I managed to fix them up, most of them had the wires all tangled up, so I straightened them out.”
Brianne nods, “Kudos for your… neatness. Although tangled wires do not generally impede the workings. The Jeffries tubes are, however, the… arteries of the ship. You will clean them and you will check for damaged parts to be replaced. As there are… I don’t know how many. Hundreds, most likely, of them, you should be busy for some time.”
Razoric mutters and does a final spin on his chair before getting up and walking towards the door.
Nahal watches Razoric leave, amused.
“I don’t recall dismissing you…” Brianne comments to Razoric.
Razoric reaches the door and turns around to look at Brianne
Razoric says “I’m still here Lieutenant.”
Brianne nods, “But you were leaving.”
Razoric shakes his head, “I was just going to the door while I wait for you to dismiss me…”
Nahal smiles and says, “Best to wait till she actually dismisses you before heading to the door.”
“Right…” Brianne shakes her head slightly, “That’s not something you’re supposed to do.”
Razoric says “Can I be dismissed now please… The sooner I start, the sooner I’ll be finished…”
Brianne nods, “Very well. Dismissed.”
Razoric bows his head towards you then walks out muttering.
Razoric heads through the door to the corridor.
Razoric has left.
Razoric comes in from the corridor.
Razoric has arrived.

Razoric has left.
Brianne shakes her head and laughs quietly.

Nahal smiles and says, “Ethusiastic, but needs to learn to slow down.”
